These dragons are simple and easy to make. You can use them to act out the story of chinese new year, or let the children play with them outside and watch how the crepe paper flaps in the wind.

Equipment

• strong card
• length of crepe paper
• crayons, paint or coloured paper to decorate the face

method

• Print out the dragon face, from here.
• Stick it to strong card and cut out
• Decorate the face with paint, crayons and coloured paper
• Attach a length of crepe paper to the back of the face to create a body
• finally using a spare strip of card make a handle on the back of the face
