Easter is the time of year that Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter Week spans from Palm Sunday (1st April 07) to Easter Sunday (9th April 07).
Palm Sunday commemerates Jesus' journey into Jerusalem where the crowds laid palm leaves at his feet. Holy Thursday marks the Last Supper, which was held the evening before the Crucifixion. Friday is the anniversary of Jesus' Crucifixion. The week ends with Easter Sunday, the day the Resurrection of Jesus.
