Use to cover large areas for display purposes, giving a uniformed background colour.

Make the background colour part of your display or use it to contrast / highlight your display. eg. black background (night sky) for firework display.

Using more than one colour adds interest to your displays, use blue at the top for the sea, and yellow at the bottom for the beach/sand. Remember to curve the middle edges where the sea meets the sand!
